It offers you Union’s strongest baseplate, combined with a stiff S22 Duraflex CB highback and reactive ankle straps.

Highback
The S22 Duraflex CB Highback is stiff, lightweight and comes with a clean design for a seamless connection between boot and binding. The design gives you enough lateral freedom for tweaks, while the binding still responds perfectly. The angle of the highback (forward lean) can be adjusted without tools.

Baseplate
The Stage 7 Atlas Baseplate is the most stable base from Union. Extremely responsive Duraflex CB nylon is the key ingredient in this indestructible design. High-Density Vaporlite HD cushioning is stiffer and more responsive than Union’s traditional Vaporlite, but with the same cushioning characteristics. The special Non-Stick coating prevents ice from forming on the footbed.

Straps
The ExoFrame 5.0 ankle strap features a triaxial progressive flex for a perfect fit between boot and binding. The fast response and power transmission is ideal for demanding riding at high speed. Simple, lightweight, durable – The TS 6.0+ toe straps keep your boots bombproof and secure in the binding without you even knowing it’s there. A shorter contact surface for the buckle saves weight and reduces pressure points. The Magnesium S1 buckles are made of magnesium and aluminium. A good combination of lightness and stability.
